Terms of Service

1. The Service

IT-Stuff Library ("the Service"), available at pustakalaya.it-stuff.in, is a subscription-based library management platform operated by IT-Stuff, India ("we", "us"). It lets a registered library ("Library") keep its book catalogue, member records, lending, donor and fee records online.

2. Accounts

• You must give accurate library details at signup and keep all login credentials confidential.
• The owner login can add staff/volunteer logins and is responsible for everything done through them.
• You confirm you have the authority — and, for children, the consent of a parent or guardian where required — to record your members' details.

3. Subscription, Trial & Payments

• New Libraries receive a free trial with a limit on book copies. Continued use after the trial needs a paid plan, billed in advance via Cashfree Payments.
• Each plan has a book-copy limit; members and logins are unlimited.
• When a subscription expires, adding or changing records is paused; viewing, printing and exporting stay available so you can renew or take your data.
• Prices may change; changes never affect a period you have already paid for. Refunds follow our Refund Policy.

4. Acceptable Use

• No unlawful use, no attempt to breach security, access other Libraries' data, or overload the Service.
• No reselling, sublicensing or white-labelling of the Service without our written agreement.
• We may suspend accounts that violate these terms or remain unpaid.

5. Intellectual Property

The Service — its software, design, workflows and documentation — is the exclusive property of IT-Stuff. Your subscription grants a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use it for your own library. Your data remains yours (Section 6).

6. Your Data

All catalogue, member, lending and donor records you enter belong to your Library. We process them only to provide the Service, as described in the Privacy Policy. You can export your data (CSV and full JSON backup) at any time from Settings.

7. Availability & Liability

We aim for high availability, but the Service is provided "as is" without warranties of uninterrupted or error-free operation. To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability for any claim is limited to the subscription fees you paid in the three months before the claim. We are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, including lost or unreturned books.

8. Termination

You may stop using the Service at any time. We may terminate accounts for breach of these terms with notice where practicable. On termination you may request a final export of your data within 30 days, after which it may be deleted.

9. Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of India. Courts at Lucknow, Uttar Pradesh have exclusive jurisdiction.
